Articles look small, but they change what the noun means to the reader.
Articles tell the reader whether a noun is new, known, specific, or general. The main choices are a, an, the, or no article.
Use a/an for one non-specific countable noun. Use the when both writer and reader can identify the noun. Use no article for many general plural and uncountable meanings.
At A1 level, keep sentences short and clear first. Add extra words only when they help meaning.
