Subject: Welcome to Eastview Community Centre — Your New Employee Orientation Package Dear Maya, Welcome to the Eastview Community Centre team! We are thrilled to have you joining us as a Program Coordinator starting Monday, June 9. This email contains everything you need to know before your first day.

Your primary workspace will be in Building C, Room 214. You will be issued a photo ID badge and a key fob on your first morning. Please report to Reception at 8:45 a.m. and ask for Sandra Tran, your onboarding liaison. Sandra will escort you through Building C and introduce you to your direct supervisor, Marcus Reid, by 9:00 a.m.

During your first week, you are required to complete three mandatory online modules through the HR portal: Workplace Health and Safety, Accessibility Standards, and Privacy and Data Handling. Each module takes approximately 45 minutes. You must pass the short quiz at the end of each module with a score of at least 80 percent. If you do not pass on your first attempt, you may retake the quiz once per day. All three modules must be completed by end of business on Friday, June 13.

Regarding your equipment: a laptop and headset have already been assigned to your profile. You will be able to pick them up from IT Services in Room 108 any time after 10:00 a.m. on your first day. If you need any additional peripherals — such as an external monitor or ergonomic keyboard — submit a request through the IT portal. Standard requests are typically fulfilled within three business days.

Your employee benefits package becomes active on your first day of employment. This includes extended health and dental coverage, access to the Employee Assistance Program, and a complimentary annual membership to our fitness facility. Please note that the fitness membership applies only to the main Eastview location; it does not extend to partner facilities. Detailed benefits information and enrollment forms are available through the HR portal under "My Profile."

Finally, parking is available in Lot B behind Building A. You will need to register your vehicle through the Facilities Office in Room 101 to receive your parking permit. Unregistered vehicles parked on site are subject to a $75 fine. If you use public transit, we offer a monthly transit subsidy of $90, which is applied directly to your paycheck. To enroll, notify HR in writing before the 20th of each month.
